About our Tours

For your convenience all of Chigwell Tours & Visits’ Essex tours start from Theydon Bois or Chigwell Underground station, and end at a Central Line Underground station.The duration of each of our tours of Essex is four hours and ends with a traditional English meal. There will be opportunities for you to explore and purchase any items of interest.

Lunch
Lunch at a traditional English pub is optional and can be booked for £10.

 A typical menu selection will include the following:

  • Homemade Beer Battered Hake served with Chips and Tartar Sauce (fish and chips)
  • Traditional Sausage and Mash with our Onion Gravy
  • McMullen Steak and Ale Pie served with Mash and our Gravy
  • Cumin Roasted Butternut Squash, Harissa-spiced Chick Peas, with Chilli and Herb Sour Cream

All meals are accompanied with a soft drink, tea or coffee.
